These Terms and Conditions of Access and Use govern your use of the website acnrf.com. Use of the website includes but is not limited to accessing, browsing, and submitting information through our website.

Whilst due care and skill has been taken in the preparation of the content contained on the ACNRF website, the ACNRF, its employees, related parties, directors, officers, committee members, research fellows, servants, agents, volunteers, and collaborators,  make no representations regarding the accuracy, currency, completeness or reliability of the information provided and do not accept any liability, including loss or damage, resulting from the reliance on any of the content contained on the website, except to the extent that liability cannot be excluded under the law.

Donations and Refund Requests

Thank you for choosing to donate to ACNRF. As your donation is being made online without our assistance or involvement, we ask that you complete your details and the amount of your donation carefully. You must assess the suitability of any payment option or service presented on this website. On utilising any of the options you certify that you are 18 years or older and that you have the authority to use the payment method specified.

If you become aware of a fraudulent or unauthorised payment, please immediately notify your bank to stop further payments and seek a refund from your bank. ACNRF is not responsible for any failures or losses or damages associated with the use of a third-party payment processor or facilitator (e.g., bank or Facebook). These payment provisions should be read in conjunction with any other terms specified at the time of payment. Should an error be made all requests for refunds must be made in writing to us via email to: admin@acnrf.com

The request should have the details of the initial donation including the date, amount, name of the donor or purchaser, the receipt number and the nature of the error.

ACNRF will endeavour to work with you to correct any such error, and if necessary, make any refund or correction that is appropriate. We cannot immediately cancel or return donations once they have been approved and completed and will consider and determine each error on a case by case basis. Should the refund be approved, any original receipt issued for the incorrect amount immediately becomes void and invalid. A new receipt will be issued where applicable.

ACNRF are the sole owners of the information collected on this website.

Personal Information

Personal information means information about an identifiable individual. This includes but is not limited to an individual’s name, home address, telephone number, financial information, etc.

What personal information do we collect?

We collect only the personal information that we need for the purposes of carrying out the organization’s mission, including personal information needed to:

  • Provide an official tax receipt for donations made to ACNRF;
  • Send out our newsletter or updates as to up and coming research or events; 
  • We use and disclose personal information only for the purposes, for which the information was collected, except as authorized by law.

 

Should you make a donation through another platform, such as Facebook your information is stored and controlled by those organisations and is not generally shared with us by those organizations unless you have provided relevant consent. We suggest that you review their privacy policies to learn how they collect and store your information.

These terms of use will be constructed according to and are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, and you irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and or the Commonwealth of Australia, as the case requires, and any courts which have jurisdiction to hear appeals from any of those courts in respect of any proceedings in connection with this Agreement.

Entire agreement

This Terms of Use constitutes the entire agreement between you and ACNRF in relation to your access and or use of our website and supersedes all previous agreements in respect of your use of this website.
